Talula’s Table is a gourmet market in historic Kennett Square, PA. As a modern day general store for food enthusiasts of all types, we offer all sorts of our own homemade specialty foods as well as imported goods from around the world.

You can order any of our prepared foods to enjoy at our community-style farmtable or at the bar which overlooks the town, or we will pack your meal to take back to the office, to the park, or home for dinner.

Our menu changes daily – we make all our food in small batches using all the finest local, natural, and exotic ingredients available. We always offer a variety of options for any appetite and palate: organic poultry, daily fresh fish, local naturally raised meats, our own pastas and soups, and local produce so delicious you’ll be craving our veggies.

Our pastry chef bakes fresh breads and pastries each morning, as well as our sweet snacks, elegant desserts, and custom cakes for special occasions.

We have all your essentials to stock your pantry: a wide variety of olive oils and vinegars, our own spiced salts, Italian pastas, European style butter, local fresh beef and lamb, and our own stocks, sauces, and smoked sausages. Local farms provide us with eggs, organic milk, honeys, and the pork from which we make our own hickory smoked bacon.

Looking for the perfect cheese? We have it. Local. French. Stinky. Oozey. Sharp. Sweet. Think you don’t like cheese? You just haven’t found the right one yet. We have it.

Talula’s also offers catering assistance for your last minute get-together, elaborate wedding, and everything in between. Elegant hors d’oeuvres, buffet-style entrees, cheese boards with our charcuterie, little sweets, and personalized cakes are all available.

After the market closes each day we serve a seasonal eight-course tasting menu- our “Farmtable Dinner”- to just one party an evening. One group of between ten and twelve guests is served an elaborate menu of only the finest ingredients at their best. Each item is sourced and prepared specifically for each evening. Each course builds upon the previous, with each plate designed to showcase the individuality of each item as well as the harmony of the components together. The evening is completed with an artisanal cheese course, espresso service, and a stunning dessert.

You will leave the evening satisfied yet wanting more, not overstuffed but certainly not hungry, and glowing with the joy of having just experienced something you will remember for many meals to come.

Reservations for the Farmtable Dinner are accepted exactly one year in advance, to the numerical date. Each morning the market opens at 7am and the first caller each day reserves the table for that date for the following year. Reservations are for the entire table only – as the host you must bring a total of ten to twelve guests.

The menu is super-seasonal, changing every four to six weeks. Talula’s is a licensed BYO and wine pairings are suggested with each menu. The current price is $105 per guest excluding tax, gratuity, and incidental supplements. As this is a fixed menu, food allergies can be accommodated with a nominal supplemental charge to source and prepare alternate courses, if necessary.
