The Market at Talula’s Table is bustling seven days a week, from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm. Stop by any time for a cup of coffee, a light lunch, or surprise your family with a hearty dinner to-go!

In the morning, you can treat yourself to one of our flaky pastries, all of which are made in-house by CIA-trained pastry chef Claire Twesten. Warm scones, almond bear claws, petite coffee cakes and crunchy biscotti all go perfectly with a hot cup of coffee. We use La Colombe beans, brewing Corsica for our house coffee, Monte Carlo for our decaf, and Nizza for our espresso drinks. Sit down with a foamy cappuccino or try one of our signature drinks like The Vermonter; our latte or cappuccino made with local milk and Pennsylvania Maple syrup! Ask about our Favorite Customer card program, going into effect in 2012!

Grab a spot at our communal Farm Table during the busy lunch hour and enjoy a time-out. We offer a wide variety of foods that are made fresh daily, and can easily be heated and enjoyed at the Table, or packed and taken to-go. Seasonal sandwiches, salads and soups are all at your fingertips – our Autumn Salad is bursting with butternut squash, cherries, pumpkin seeds, piquant blue cheese and a maple vinaigrette is delicious with our Parsnip and Walnut soup, for example!

Later in the day, take the delicious and easy dinner route and pack a basket for home. Choose from our hourly-changing entrees and sides (think roasted chicken breast with sweet apricot chutney, our famous mac & cheese, or delicious Maine lobster pot pies!) – and we’ll give you all the info on how to heat up at home! Or, should you find yourself feeling the urge to cook up a storm yourself, we have all of the goodies and ingredients for you to whip up a fantastic meal. Check our freezer – it is filled with local ground beef, house-made pastas (goat cheese gnocchi, ricotta cavatelli, lobster & sweat pea ravioli, etc), and ever-changing surprises! ¬†Our shelves are stocked with dry goods ready to help you create the perfect meal, from breakfast to dinner.

As always, we encourage you to think (and eat) out of the box. We are happy to create a last minute cheeseboard for here or to-go – our cheese case boasts and impressive 100+ cheeses, both local and foreign. We have all of the perfect accoutrements to pair with the cheeses of your choice, as well as a rotating stock of our own Talula’s created & cured charcuterie! Our cheese, our salami – paired with our housemade crusty breads – are great choices for those who want to indulge a bit.

Snacks are important, too – we have a wide selection of our favorite dips, spreads and quick bites. Our cheddar-beer spread, smoked fish spreads, olive tapenade, housemade hummus, and seasonal dips are definitely staples for any home!

(Don’t forget to top your visit off with a sweet treat – our individual sized tarts are to die for, and you can’t miss out on our selection of macaroons, carrot cake cookies, cream puffs, or raspberry shortbread bars!)
