The Kennett Square Mushroom Festival has grown from a one-day, one-block local celebration to a nationally-recognized, two-day event that attracts many thousands of visitors to Kennett Square. The Festival has grown into one of the largest and most prestigious events in Pennsylvania.

"The Barn" at Wayvine Winery & Vineyard is nestled in the rolling hills near Kennett Square. Originally an old milk barn on their family farm, this cherished building was lovingly transformed into a tasting room in 2022. It stands as a testament to their dedication to preserving the rich agricultural history of the land while crafting exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of Pennsylvania.

The Woodlands at Phillips Mushroom Farms provides fresh, dried, jarred, and specialty mushrooms to Chester County. Located in the heart of Mushroom Country, they offer a wide array of culinary delights and curated goods. Explore the store based out of an original 1828 farmhouse that was acquired by the Phillips Family in 1890. Check out their free growing exhibit to learn about growing fresh mushrooms and the rich local history of the Chester County Mushroom Industry.

Forage Books, located in the heart of Kennett Square, is an independent bookstore for readers of all ages and interests. Their thoughtfully curated shelves feature everything from bestselling fiction and insightful nonfiction to children’s favorites, local authors, and delightful surprises.

The Kennett Flash is a nonprofit performing arts organization which operates a 100-seat, all-ages, stage-centered, BYOB, café-style listening room.
